A pretty newly built villa 200 metres from the beach, Playa Blanca White, with traditional blue coloured windows and shutters. Fans of the islands famous Ceaser Manrique, will know that this island inspired architect specified that villas near the sea should have blue windows and doors. So it should be no surprise that the villa has stunning sea views.
The spacious family accommodation offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite). The master bedroom is ensuite with double bed and there are a further two twin bedrooms plus a family bathroom. A cot and a high chair are provided if required. A sunny comfortable lounge has patio doors onto the terrace. Where the sun lounges and patio table and chairs can be arranged to suit depending on whether you like sun or shade. Of course, there is a smashing heated 5m x 3m private pool. Great for early morning dips or afternoon fun and games!
The house is stylish, furnished well and the kitchen has all you will need for a villa-based holiday. Throw open the French doors from the main bedroom to the balcony and wow! Beautiful sea views across the sea to the National Park beaches, Papagayo.
Let the sound of the waves lull you into an afternoon siesta! The house is located in a small development, and it is in walking distance to some of the nearby 5 star hotels. They have great options for dining and entertainment on the days you don’t want to use the kitchen at your holiday home.
Playa Las Coloradas, just 4 to 5 minutes walk away! Turn right out of the villa, and a few minutes stroll down a pretty palm tree lined road, brings you to an unspoilt natural, rock pool laden shoreline. Here you will find an abundance of wildlife, from lizards and geckos’ scrambling to hide from the sun into bushes, to crabs sunbathing on pebbles in rock pools.
Many different types of fish swim in small shoals, through the rock pools, waiting for the tide to carry them off in the waves to deeper seas. There are some natural caves, and overhanging rocks, that provide a perfect shady base for picnics and fun! It is possible, at your own risk, to dive into the sea off the rocks, although it can be a pebbly exit. Sand shoes, fishing rods or nets and seaside buckets should be high on your list!
Whether you like a quiet, tranquil cove, with amazing sea views over to Fuerteventura, or to watch the glass bottom boat ferry people across from Playa Blanca Harbour to the fabulous Papagayo beaches… give this one a try! Or if you enjoy walking with the sun on your back, visit El Pueblo, Las Coloradas, with shops, bars and restaurants to the left of the beach.
Stroll a bit further to the right along a pretty promenade, and you will reach the incredibly interesting Marina Rubicon where tapas bars, restaurants, and designer shops are in abundance. Casa Papagayo Rocas is the perfect base to explore Playa Blanca of foot from, or just a few minutes drive will take you into the delightful village of Playa Blanca with all it's charm.
The Playa Dorada beach with its golden sand and all its facilities is ca. 25 mins walk away (5 mins by car). The famous, naturally golden Papagayo beaches are reachable by foot (20 mins) or by car (5 mins).
The nearest car hire, supermarket, bar/café, and taxi rank are 200m away.
