Villas in Los Volcanos, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote

With a mix of residential and holiday homes, Los Volcanos certainly has an authentic Canarian feel about it.

 

With the sun and occasional cloud casting different patterns on Montana Roja, and in the distance, the Rubicon Range of Mountains, you are never short of something to gaze at when you stay in Los Volcanos.

 

To explore the surrounding sights it is best to have a car. However if you wanted to walk into the village of Playa Blanca, it would take you about 20minutes, and less than 2minutes in a car.  The villas at Los Volcanos are stylish, extremely well appointed and very private.

 

Huge, walled gardens, big swimming pools, lots of terrace space with BBQ´s, well you might be forgiven for not wanting to leave the villa.

 

Nevertheless when you do venture out, there is a small supermarket, which you can walk to in 7minutes or s, to the left. Or go to the right and you can wander down to the nearest hotel, Cordoba, to use their shop or sample their facilities.

 

Alongside the Cordoba is a well-trodden footpath, which leads you directly to the Port. So in no time at all, you are stood there facing the sea and wondering where to explore first! Go left and look at the local traditional fishing boats bobbing in the harbour. They look so tiny next to the Catamaran Ferry and Fred Olsen Ferry that cross daily and frequently back and fro to Fueterventura. Or, just pick up some bits and your daily paper at the Spa on your right if you are walking back home.

 

Los Volcanos is on the regular and frequent bus route, and a taxi would cost you a couple of euros to get into the village.
