Villa Fortuna

Villa Fortuna is a bright fresh and airy villa that enjoys an elevated position at the foot of Montana Roja. The location is ideal for those looking for peace and quiet and particulary for those that enjoy unpoluted skylines and nice walks.

This villa has an internal courtyard which is completely private, with bistro table and 2 chairs, bench seating and a variety of plants/ and potted plants - a lovely spot for relaxing with the morning paper or a nice book.

The entrance hall leads you into the light air conditioned lounge (pay as you go) with sofa and two armchairs. The flatscreen TV picks up channels in English and some other European languages, there is a DVD player and CD, both have a few discs of course you are welcome to bring your own. Throw the double patio doors out onto the pool side terrace which enjoys all day sunshine with ample space for the four sun loungers that have comfy cushions on. There is a patio table and chairs for six herew ith a sun umbrella. The private electrically heated pool is approx 8 x 4 metres with gradual step entry. A low volcanic wall surrounds the garden which has some pretty local plants, although low from the villa side the wall is high from the roadside so those walking by are unable to see into the garden which gives you a good degree of privacy.

Back through the lounge and into the modern kitchen you will find a cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and that all important cafetierre for your leisurely morning coffee. Through the kitchen you will reach the utility room which gives space for your suitcases to be stored out of sight (out of mind!), there is an iron and ironing board. Beach umbrellas and inflatables are left here along with an airpump for blowing up your own lilo´s and pool toys. Here we also store the four beach towels.

There are two twin bedrooms, each with two single beds, built in wardrobes and shelf space with lots of hangers for your holiday glad rags! Each bedroom has a hairdryer. One bedroom is en-suite and there is also a family bathroom. We have a travel cot suitable for a small baby with linen provided and also a highchair-

There is off road parking if you choose to hire a car for exploring the island. The nearest beaches are either white sand beach Playa Flamingo which is 5 mins by car (30 minutes walk away) or Playa Mulata with its natural dark sand and pebbles. The resort centre/Harbour is a further 15 mins or so beyond Playa Flamingo.
