The villa has marble floors and high ceilings. The furniture is of high quality.
In the lounge there are two comfortable settees, TV which has SKY - please bring your own card, with DVD player, video player and films. There are also books and games provided. There are double french doors onto the patio area which overlooks the quiet communal pool and has fabulous views of the sea and Fuerteventura.
The kitchen is fully fitted including microwave and dishwasher. In the kitchen you'll find the complimentary welcome pack with milk, water, orange juice, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits.
There is a solana area with washing machine so you can afford to pack lightly! There is also an iron and ironing board provided.
The master bedroom has a double bed, good quality linen and an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath. There are double wardrobes.
The twin bedroom also has double wardrobes and two single beds. There is also a z bed if you want to bring a fifth person with you.
Both bedrooms have their own fans for keeping you warm on those balmy nights.
Outside the property you will love the covered dining area with typical canarian seating, a lovely big wooden table and pretty Moroccan style light for evening meals! This area even has a barbecue, perfect for alfresco dining.
The patio has cushioned sun loungers and is very close (with its own pathway) to the communal pool so if you are bringing children you don't need to worry about not keeping an eye on them - you can see the pool when you are on the patio, in the lounge and from the master-suite.
Because the garden is walled and gated your children will be safe, because the pool is so close you won't have far to go for a dip!
La Goleta is very close to Faro Park, and as such is in walking distance of all the bars, restaurants and shops there.
Shangrila Park complex is adjacent, and has a small mini-market where you can by amongst other things, fresh bread baked on the premises 4 times a day, just 3 minutes walk away.
La Goleta differs in that it has its own large communal swimming pool as a centerpiece. More often than not, you will only see Seagulls paddling in it. Most of the villas have their own pools too; others have the luxury of a spa.
The gardens are mature and green; the grounds are well lit and kept. A spacious feel is conveyed, although you will have your own private garden and gate. The lighthouse is in view, and in the dark, it’s comforting light swathes the villas in a hypnotic beam. Some villas have roof terraces, which allow excellent views of the sea.
Behind La Goleta is the incredible Montana Roja. You can take a walk up the mountain easily, and marvel at the crater below, gaze around and you will see most of Playa Blanca from above. Make sure you take water and sun tan lotion the nearly extinct Houbarra bird is probably the only thing you will see. If you don’t want to drive into Playa Blanca, the bus stop is not too far away, and taxis arrive quickly once called.
La Goleta is a very quiet, pretty community with a mix of residents and holidaymakers. A super place to stay and venture to and from.

The villa was better than we expected, the photos do not do it justice. We were very impressed. This was our third visit to Lanzarote and yet again we've had a great time. The villa is perfect for relaxing and a nice soak in the hot tub after long walks on the prom was very welcome! |

Hi Marie
We are back home to the wet and cold after a fabulous 4 weeks in Lanzarote.
We found the villa marvellous and it felt like 'home from home' but with sunshine. We did appreciate the welcome pack on arrival.
We cannot wait until next year to come again!
Thanks once again for all your help.

When we were on holiday last year Marie showed us round 2 villas on La Goleta and we chose Villa La Colina. The booking with Marie was brilliant. Upon arrival the cleanliness and presentation was excellent and we could not fault it. It is just like home from home. We cannot fault the service we received and prompt attention when needed. |

We booked this villa as it does not have a pool and it has a walled garden so it was suitable for young children. The villa is fabulous! Like a 5* Hotel! It was even nicer and bigger than we imagined. The service we received was excellent. We locked ourselves out and they had us back in in no time. |

Marie made the booking process an easy one with invaluable information. Infact we booked this villa because of Maries advice, but also because it was comfortable and private. The villa fully met our expectations and was presented excellently. The team at Montana Villas and Pools were just as excellent and we would return to this villa. |
