The villa has marble floors throughout which are nice and cool.

Large patio doors lead out to the large terraces and electric heated private pool. Outside is a utility room with washing machine.
Young children are catered for, there is a cot, highchair, toys, games, videos etc. We do not charge for these at Villa Roja. The villa is surrounded by a volcanic wall making it very safe and private.

The villa is located near the front of Faro Park close to the small row of shops, bar, restaurants etc. so if you are hiring a car but do not fancy using it everyday or night - this is the villa for you.

A secuity safe is provided.

The large double bed is very comfortable and a door leads onto a brightly coloured marble en-suite bathroom with shower over bath.

The twin bedroom has two single beds and double wardrobes, with window to the pool area. There is a family bathroom with shower.

The lounge a settee and chairs for foour, facing the large patio windows which lead to the pool area which is walled so no escape for the kids.

There's SKY TV, video with childrens films and books for reading whilst topping up your tan by the pool.. A full information pack is provided.

The kitchen has a galley style breakfast bar looking over the lounge and is fully equipped with oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer. There's a window door to the outdoor dining area which is covered and has a large table and also typical canarian seating with comfortable cushions. There is BBQ for grilling those fresh fish brought in the village or a burger for the kids from one of the several international supermarkets in the village!

Faro is Spanish for Lighthouse and as its name implies that is just where Faro Park is. Adjacent to the lighthouse and on the southern most tip of Playa Blanca. Although a 7minute drive, or 1hour 20minutes walk out of Playa Blanca, Faro Park has its own charm.

The villas are located either side of a quiet road, and in well kept mature gardens, the surrounding area is one of natural beauty.

Faro Park is served by the local regular, reliable bus route, and for a euro or so, you can reach the village or venture further around the island. A taxi ride would cost around 3e to reach the village. Some holidaymakers drive out, park in the village and then get a taxi back after sampling the local vino! A head-clearing walk the next morning along the beachfront promenade to collect the car is a relaxing start to the day!

As there is an array of shops, bars and restaurants actually in Faro Park, you don’t have to venture out until you want to.

Within walking distance from any of the Faro Park Villas, you will find a commercial promenade.

There is a wide selection of places to eat and drink in, or take away. These include 4 English bars, a Spanish bar, a Chinese restaurant, and an English owned café where the baker cooks overnight a mouth-watering array of delights to sell the next morning.

There are 2 supermarkets, the bigger one of the two stocks nearly all that you need, apart from fresh meat and fish, although both are available frozen. As there is quite a community of English residents/villa owners in Faro Park, the shop sells some English produce too. No need to miss out on your English breakfasts though, either buy your ingredients there, or let one of the restaurants cook a full English Breakfast up for around 3.50e.

One of the beauties of Faro Park is the proximity to the sea, with the super promenade meandering along the sea front, all the way along to the new Marina. Although it would take some time to walk it, why not hire a bike and admire the view along the coastal path. There are lots of lovely places to stop and take shade from the sun whilst you gather your thoughts and refresh your senses.

Many of the Faro Park villas have incredible sea views, across to Bocaina straights to Fuerteventura. Regularly you will see ferries, cargo ships, fishing boats and occasionally cruise ships going by.

It’s a fantastic place to base your holiday, and although the rock pools and southern tip of the island waves are fantastic to watch, especially when the sun sets, it is strongly recommended not to venture on to the rocks or attempt to swim. The lighthouse is interesting to look at and again a perfect venue to watch the sunset. Do not be tempted to venture into the sea. The tide and waves can be dangerous.

Only a short drive away is some of the wonders of Lanzarote, The Timanfya Mountains, and Papagayo Beaches. The villages of Femes, El Golfo and Las Brenas, all with their own delights.

We already knew the Faro Park area. The photos of the villa were good and the information which was provided met our needs. Upon arrival the villa was neat and clean and the welcome pack was appreciated. We enjoyed our stay and like the villa and it's location. No complaints on the service - both the pool and housekeeper were very pleasant.

The villa was spotless on arrival with lovely touches with flowers, wine and even how the welcome pack was arranged in the fridge. It was much more than expected with superb presentation. The service from the housekeepers was second to none. No improvements needed - perfect accomodation.

Just to let you know we had a wonderful holiday, we think the villa is absolutely perfect and as for the swimming pool, how lovely to find it really is heated and to a temperature which just allows you to swim whenever. Its often the little things that make a difference and this was definitely the case in this villa - being greeted by flowers in the bathroom and all around was a beautiful touch. The service received from Montana Villas and Pools was helpful, kind and perfect, not to mention the pool that was very very clean.
