The villa has a parking space in front of the villa along with a private garage. The front door leads to a grand hallway with marble stairs up to the master bedroom. The master bedroom is en-suite with marble bathroom and shower over bath. Next to the bed are bedside tables, reading lights and fitted wardrobes. The window to the side of the bed gives sea and lighthouse views over the neighbouring villas. The double patio doors to the foot of the bed give amazing sea and mountain views, all you need to do is sit up in bed to enjoy these views with your morning cup of tea! The doors lead to a roof terrace with two sunloungers and a table with two chairs. For adults this is the perfect escape from the children who have plenty of space downstairs!
On the ground floor is another marble bathroom with shower over bath, a spacious twin bedroom with window to the poolside. A 5th bed is provided and can be used in either bedroom or just under the marble stairs which is the great place for a youngster to sleep Harry Potter style!
A security safe is fitted for your holiday valuables. The lounge is bright and airy with marble floors, gorgeous sea-side paintings and flatscreen TV with UK channels and DVD player. A CD player and discs are provided. The patio doors lead to the poolside and a further window over looks the covered outdoor dining area with BBQ and typical Canarian seating and marble table for 6.
Aguamarina is a smart development of some 59 privately owned beautiful detached villas with individual swimming pools at the lighthouse end of Playa Blanca. It is very quiet and tranquil, with a mixture of holiday and residential villas.
Entrance and exit, is through one of the two portcullis archways, therefore there is no through traffic, only individuals driving to their villas. You can see amazing views across the Atlantic, towards Fueteventura, and Aguamarina hugs the coastal promenade. Behind, the awesome Montana Roja is in full glory.
The sun rises to the left of Aguamarina, above Montana Roja, lazily drenching the gardens and pool areas through the day, making a spectacular sun drop to the right by the lighthouse.
Only minutes away, over the el campo, open ground, you will find yourself on the promenade and be able to experience the nearest beach and have that first holiday paddle! The nearest hotel is the Calimera, where you are able to sample the bar, restaurant, pool and children’s play facilities. Indeed, any of the hotels in Playa Blanca will welcome your trade and company.
In close proximity to Aguamarina, is the The fabulous Hotel Rubicon, and their cocktail happy hour is not to be missed. For a small fee, you are able to use their luxurious spa and at a reasonable rate, spoil yourselves with adorable spa delight treatments. Although the spa is children free in the main, there are a few hours each afternoon when you could take young ones to experience the water spouting delights of the indoor pool. Great outdoor play areas too.
A little further along the promenade after this hotel and you will be at Playa Mulata. This natural coastline beach is a divers paradise, with a friendly reputable dive school on the doorstep. A favourite beach to take children as if you needed to drive,
you can park very close by, so not too far to carry the buckets and spades.
The beach is generally quiet and the sea calm, no lifeguards are on duty, so it is up to you to keep an eye on the tide and currents around the rocks.
Very easy to while away the hours here. Chasing crabs, trying to temp little fish into seaside buckets from the rock pools, along with the almost transparent shrimp like creatures. Great fun. Just be aware that if the rock pools and rocks have moss like seaweed covering, they will be slippy. Neptune can always take you by surprise; so don’t turn your back on the sea!
There are a number of bars and restaurants here too. The Italian La Campana is truly brilliant, the Argentinean restaurant, well, they know how to cook excellent steaks! There is a super Spanish restaurant where breakfasts, the full English or Continental variety are tasty and reasonably priced. A Greek restaurant Sebastians is there to tempt your Mediterranean taste buds.
Manea bar, the tide is a paradise of white, whicker and cocktails! Sit there any time of day and night, above the beach and be amazed at the service, environment and view. All of these places face the sea, you can eat in or out and they really are a special place to be. The great thing about Aguamarina is that all this is on your doorstep, even on foot!
Exit towards Faro Park, and in a 10minute walk, you will reach a further array of bars and culinary delights. A number of English bars, which while might not be your choice when in the Canaries, do some have great menus and breakfast deals. Easy to catch up with English sport and news here too. Some of the bars have wi fi and one has an Internet café attached.

Hi Marie
Just a quick email to thank you for providing such a great villa. It was absolutely spotless clean with all the fixtures and fittings to make a very comfortable stay, the pool was terrific.
The location was very peaceful without being isolated, surrounded by tracks and trails which were perfect for the mountain bike I'd hired (managed some 300km, phew!)
I would certainly recommend your services to others and will definitely pass on your details at our next club event.
Yours sincerely

As requested, we completed the guest questionnaire and left it in the villa with our comments and some minor suggestions? hopefully it has made its way to you by now. It was nice to have the chance to have a brief chat with you in person again this year and also your mum Sharon who was very responsive to our needs too. Please convey my regards to all. Best wishes,Paschal. | |
